Wish us luck.  We’re having a go at this one Tuesday night, November 3rd Demo.  I can’t remember any of the chords, Mike can’t remember a lick of the bass solo.  It’s more complicated than most of our other stuff.  It’s also so beautiful, we can’t let it go.

Here’s the original germ of an idea for a song tentatively titled “Writing on the Wall”. We’ve since worked out a (sort of) chorus and (definite) bridge. We like the jam at the end; I’m sure the final will retain it as an instrumental outro. Mike says he’s remixing this demo [...]

We recorded last night, spent the whole time on a brand new idea that we just made up out of our heads and hands.
New podcast coming very soon, not related to the above idea. Except for the fact it was made up, out of our heads and hands.

Went to Mass at the abbey this morning, 4 a.m.  It’s gorgeous today.  Mike and I recorded again;  once more we’re coming up with a lot of new ideas.  A particular one from last night left us full of joy and the wonder of “where did that come from?”  Very appropriate for the great Feast [...]
