Fan Mail and Encouragement
Received this in the post today, smeared in places with hurried ink:
Ok, so men may I be bold and challenge you to gold, or platinum.
I was visiting the mySpace page (for the greatest basement band this side of the Mississippi river) and I noticed two older song posts that were/are quite good: “EightyOne” and “Harry Frank and Bob”. These are works that deserve publication and polish.
The music is already so strong.I would love to add these to my iPod playlist titled “Play Often”. These pieces are ready to graduate from the bulletin board.
If I am in error and they are done, then please accept my pardons. But if they are among the ranks of the ‘awaiting attention’ group, then please accept my prodding. I am not alone in my interest. If you will so kindly note, these two song posts rank far higher in #of plays than any other posted song.
Just a note of encouragement from your loyal and vocal fans*.
Jeffrey*I am not a voted on voice of the majority, but I merely cast my lamp upon the evidence that indicates the wishes of your fans.
Thank you, good sir. Those are a great couple of tracks, and whenever some sort of album happens, I agree heartily. Those two are standouts and should appear therein. I think Frank, Hank, and Bob could do with a little more exploratory writing and playing. Eighty-One I feel very happy about the arrangement and recording. It would be a heckuva lot of fun to play that one live, with a real drummer. Thanks for the encouragement, Jeffrey.
