We’ve gone off the rails again, but in a very good way;  at some point we realized if we want final recordings to start happening on songs, we need a modest upgrade of some equipment.  And of course, Mike would be quick to kick me in the shins, shouting “LYRICS!”.  Yeah, I guess we need those too.  What, you not satisfied with the opening line of Writing Demo??  What to you does not make sense about “Settin’ watchin’ riding maw”??

All right.  Point taken.  Just need some coffee and time with a notebook.  I did recently try writing/typing lyrics, and it was interesting…..will have to blog about that…

So, speaking of derailments, we’ve been jamming a lot the last few sessions.  And coming up with mostly awesome stuff.  So our “needs further development board” is full.  What we’re going to do now is try some non-commital-but-yeah-nearly-final recordings of the complete stuff on board B.  Couple that with arranging and recording stuff from board A and I think we have an agenda for this weekend.

New podcast next week for sure.  *kicks Mike in shin*
