John on guitar and vocal, Mike on bass. Sorry about my guitar crackle….This is one of our first “finished” songs. This is the “coffeehouse version” without the Wurlitzer, backup singers, dancers, second guitar, horns, string section, drummer and percussionists.

I like the gritty sound that is so smooth in real lovely fool sound. Take me to the bluegills and we all think its for us.

Congratulations on a sound balance that plays like a conversation of coordination. Each track/layer is presented with such clarity.
A few items really sell this song: the voice at the beginning, the rasp in the vocals, the tapping on the guitar body and the exhale of breath a the end.
