First, i wanted to add a comment about your terminology. Genius. USDA (non-beef classification) and the GDOKSOA (chew on that govmnt slang speakers)
John, your writing skills are super slice-a-delic.
Now in regards to your last response, I was expecting a bit more of a response from two fellow ’sw fans’. Ok, perhaps I was to obvious, I’ll aim for a bit more subtle.
‘Now try it with the Blast Shield down’
What I love about your music is the visual quality. As I listen to it I am transported to another place. Triumph boys, triumph. Hats off to your work on in this ‘lift-off’ theme.
I can smell the vapors of the lift-off pad.
The cushion of the carpet pad leading across the tarmac to the elevator. Lifting me up, up, up to the platform and the portal…
I can even begin to imagine the weight of my suitcase of supplementary air supply.

Thank you for sharing the new podcast. And Congratulations on the milestone. It’s a great piece of music. If I were an astronaut captain, I would has this music play whenever we jumped into ‘hyperspace’ assuming that the Wookie had completed all of the necessary repairs. There is a nice sense of waiting for an unfolding of the next moment, the next adventure.
Maybe the sister song could be the ‘what-if’ soundtrack. What-if the hyperjump failed and this sister song is the one to play while traveling to court in the federation holding cell.
At first this may seem like a tongue in cheek comment, but it’s a sincere reflection. I have to admit my love of narratives in all forms of art. Music that tells a story doesn’t need words, just look as Modest Mussorgsky’s ‘Pictures at an exhibition.
