The Road Doesn’t Stop

This installment of podcasts is a trip back in time to when stocks were worth a little more. Oddly enough, this song peaked my interest while taking a break from mixing another song, and what caught me eye was the date of all things. This song was one of the first few we started to write when John moved back to the area in fall of 2007. It was recorded nearly a year ago today, and features just guitar and bass. It was one of the first multi-track recordings we made featuring 2 guitar tracks and 2 bass tracks. It was transferred directly from the MR-8 recorder to my computer, wrong notes and all, using an audio cable. The only editing done in Audacity was trimming the song at the beginning and end. Hope you enjoy this look into our musical window. m

Nice. Great sound quality. It has a ‘moseying’ feeling to it. I imagined the two of you seated on bales of hay in the back of a farm truck coasting down a side road. Calm consistency in the rhythm.

Thanks, jd. It definitely mosies. Probably too much…lol. The timing’s not so good but it has a nice feel, I think.
