Quality and updates.

Me again, John.  We like to keep a lot of pots stirring, and that is what is happening.  Mike is hard at work, slaving away on future podcast content.  We will probably settle into a twice a month thing.  I keep trying to convince him that no one is listening so let’s just upload any kind of crap  we feel like - but he’s really a stickler for quality.  Quality, schmuality!  Anyway, there you have it.

I have to say it’s been a real pleasure working with Mike on this stuff, it’s cool to have another set of ears.  It changes everything.  I would say, though we’re not making a dime from any of this, that this is what I’ve been wanting to do for years.  Small instrumental pieces, and working on more musically ambitious stuff, all at our own snail on a glacier’s pace.

Random news:  One of our upcoming podcasts will be called “Fat Elvis”.  It’s an instrumental.

Love the new banner image.

Why the new banner rocks.
It’s got spot on composition, Diana camera color, classical portraiture lighting with the split of light and dark, and lampposts. Lampposts are a timeless landscape accessory.

Thanks, JD. Glad to see you spotted the lomographic work I did on it. You should see the whole pic. Perhaps I’ll post it.

Looking forward to “Fat Elvis”.

Sorry to your previous commenter, but I disagree with the “spot on composition” comment. The objects in the banner are fine as objects, but spatially, they make my eyes cross and confuse me visually. There’s too much going on in the very center of the photo. . . can’t quite make it out what’s going on there. . . My eyes are drawn away from your band name. Thus the band name loses its import. I’d simplify.

I think your banner in composition doesn’t really represent your wonderfully moody music I’ve heard here. But that blue sky swept with clouds catches a bit of the spirit better. . .

Can’t wait for some “Fat Elvis”.

Thanks for the comments, Apple! Yeah, the banner’s are gonna be a dime a dozen. It’s about time for this one to be switched out.
