New, upcoming, and groovy.

Mike just sent me an email regarding the upcoming podcast:
OK it is almost 4:30am……

Around midnight, I worked on the new pod cast for less than an hour.  I must say I am very pleased with the results.  Actually, I am very proud of myself.  It just flowed.  I recorded 3 guitar parts on top of your bass line.  I just spent the last half hour driving around town listening to it.”

So he sends me this 16 second “teaser” clip that’s really cool. Actually, I’m trying my best to underplay my reaction so that you all out there aren’t disappointed. It sounds like a Level 42 groove from their “Forever Now” album. How we pulled that off, I’ll never know!

Give me that mp3 so I can podcast it, Mike!! Just thinking, wouldn’t it be funny if we argued back and forth in our posts….Mike has posting priveleges so it’s possible.

lol…I know! Me too! I have to drive all the way to Ferdinand to listen to it. He wants my first listen of it to be in the car, blasting it on Main Street.

Which makes me think, we could make this REALLY exclusive. If you want to hear this next tune, you have to come to Ferdinand and have Mike drive you around!

Oh Oh, I have a good marketing idea. You could enhance the exclusivity of the ‘listening’ by taking your listeners to the Ferdie Flyer before each playing. “Sir/madam, a full tummy of native Ferdinandian food is a prerequsite for each performance of said native Ferdinandian music. I’m sorry, no exceptions. Don’t make me turn this van around.”
With that practice in place, you could possibly secure a sponsorship from the Ferdie Flyer for your upcoming album. Or at least get an official commendation from the BBB of Ferdinand.

Hey, Mike’s on the Jaycee’s. We’re a shoo-in. Maybe we could get a sandwich named after us. The jambroburger?
